Each fall, the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Central Carolina Chapter joins with national and international colleagues to celebrate National Philanthropy Day, a celebration of exceptional individuals and organizations that have dedicated themselves to philanthropy. 

Philanthropy is “the love of humankind,” and National Philanthropy Day brings together thousands of people around the world to put that word into action. This special day highlights the changes and accomplishments - both big and small - that philanthropy makes in our society, and we are honored to celebrate it locally.
